In Sickness or Health

In Sickness or Health: Oh happy the day when asked, as a priest, to pray for others—yeah, that’s my job! But oh what joy when they ask me not to beg God to remove all their sufferings, but rather to give them the strength to do his will despite difficulties. Joyful, for I see by their attitude that they’re already halfway to heaven.
