Beyond Reciprocal

Love is attractive. We love being loved; what's more, we automatically gravitate towards those who like us, who find us enjoyable, or who agree with our opinions. Yet the Gospels call us beyond a "reciprocal" understanding of love. The point of our dealings with others is not to become their "friend" but to love them no matter what.
