Bliss

Jesus' invitation applies to us all "Touch me and See!" He wants us to experience his love and mercy to the point of leaving aside everything else; yes, because Jesus wants us to be perfectly happy, and nothing else but love for God will give us the kind of bliss that we have been created for. (He should know best, he created us.)
