Let Him Speak

Link to today's Gospel

May I invite you to read the passage yourself? The Holy Spirit speaks to us actively when we read the Scriptures. And today there are so many messages, lessons to learn, that it would be sad if I picked out the one that wasn't for you.

Here, in brief, among MANY other things, is what the Holy could talk about:

• Importance of who WE think Jesus is.
• The non-importance of public opinion.
• What it means to be "blessed".
• How God works in private revelations.
• Primacy of Peter, the rock.
• Foundation of Christ's Church.
• Fidelity of God, who will never let his Church down.
• The power to bind and loose sins.
• Connection between the Old Testament and the New.

Today, on the Solemnity of St. Peter and St. Paul, let's allow the Holy Spirit to do the talking.
