Reminds me of two high school boys traveling in an airplane. They decided to pray the rosary together. The passengers behind them started to complain.
It's basically like Bartimaeus in the Gospel today: the others tell him to shut up ... because he prays.
But he's cool. He doesn't just ignore them, he shouts EVEN LOUDER!
And one of the boys, set down his blue rosary, took off his seat-belt, stood up, turned around, and answered in the loudest voice he could: "Don't you realize we are praying? Do you have something against religion? Do you hate God? Do you have a problem with a couple of kids praying???!!"
Yes, Bartimaeus, that's the spirit. The boys might have taken it a bit too far, but they surely were willing to stand up for what they believed.
And they sat down and finished praying.
