Standing tall

The apostles were arguing about which one of them was the greatest... until Jesus stepped in. But not to pick the winner. Instead, Jesus redesigned the contest.

The Gospel reinvents the word great. Jesus was God, and he became man. He was all-powerful, and became a helpless child to teach us true greatness: not pulling through on our own, but needing God, and with his help, standing far taller than we ever would have on our own. Like a child on his dad's shoulders.
