#4: If I just remembered a sin from ages ago that I forgot to confess do I need to confess it now or was it forgiven?

We need to keep in mind that venial sins never have to be confessed, ever.

If you are speaking of a mortal sin (CCC #1857) then we need to ask further. Did you leave it out on purpose? If so, you remain in a state of sin until you sincerely confess all of your mortal sins. Any other mortal sins confessed since that time need to be confessed again together with the explanation that you held back a mortal sin in confession.

If you simply forgot, then you have been forgiven, however still need to confess it in your next confession.
