Finally God answered saying: "Meet me half way on this one: Buy yourself a ticket."
When the Jerusalem traveler stopped to "fuel up his donkey," he couldn't purchase lottery tickets over the counter back then - so Jesus used the sower image instead. (Unlike the "Parable of the Sower," in this image the sower is not God. It's you.)
Yes, first the blade, then the ear, then the full grain in the ear. The spiritual life does grow in silence and we don't know how.
But in this parable, the sower has to SOW first.
