Close But No Cigar

(Gospel) "You are not far from the Kingdom of God." 

However, "not far" isn't there yet.

The scribe almost got it. But knowing that God is out there, or even that he's out there and really, really important, isn't true religion. 

God isn't a He. God is a You. And until we discover that, and experience the consequences, we're still in the minor leagues.
