What makes you dance? What fills your heart with joy? What picks you up?
Music? Human love? A brisk morning jog?
Sure, human things fill us with human joy, however the point of life is not found in this life - and therefore only those things which prepare us for beyond this life can really fill us with spiritual joy.
And Jesus in the Gospel today invited his disciples to rejoice: Why? "Rejoice" he said, "because your names are written in heaven."
