Pay no Attention to the Man eating Chicken

The chicken is good. He reaches for the gravy. His favorite restaurant is quiet and peaceful. Suddenly a bearded guy jumps up from the corner and - in a loud voice - starts...

Praying!!

Yeah, exactly, there, in the restaurant, halfway through his well-deserved dinner, and in a LOUD voice, hand gestures included!

The chicken guy would probably be thinking, maybe even mumbling under his breath between chews: "Hey, keep it to yourself. What a bother!"

But yes, sometimes the Spirit takes over. And it is GOOD that we let him speak - even in a loud voice.

That's what Elisabeth did in today's Gospel. We con only imagine what the servants were thinking.

Do you let the Holy Spirit move you too? Or do you care more about what the guy thinks while eating his chicken and gravy?
