"Good bye! See you later. At the latest in heaven!"
There are three common answers to this farewell:
1. "Hmmm, yeah, if there even IS a heaven."
2. "If I make it."
3. "Of course, just not too soon, I hope."
We don't fall into the first, because we do believe. And most of us are convinced that we will make it. It's interesting that most Christians do share this third attitude; even good Christians.
If you were planning on getting married to the love of your life, but you had this kind of "not too soon" attitude, then I would have to question if you were really in love.
Heaven is the deepest motivation of your life. Are you looking forward to it? If not, then you urgently need to change your concept of heaven.
