Hope in ourselves. In our strength. Our smarts. Our talents.
That's a recipe for disaster, because God is asking us to do the impossible. Our strength, smarts and talents will die with us. They can't take us any further than the grave. God is calling us to heaven.
Hope is warranted. But only if it's hope in God. "All things are possible for God."
Exactly what I needed to hear today! Thank you!
